This Sunday, our congregation has two wonderful opportunities to support our youth as they work to serve others. We invite you to take part in both efforts and make a meaningful impact in our community!
- Give to the Souper Bowl of Caring Offering Join us this Sunday, February 9, at either the 9:00 AM or 11:00 AM service to participate in the Souper Bowl of Caring Offering. Donations will be collected in specially marked boxes representing your favorite Super Bowl team—the Kansas City Chiefs or the Philadelphia Eagles!
All donations will go to Cooperative Emergency Outreach (CEO), a collaborative group of churches providing emergency assistance as part of an outreach ministry. CEO serves the area of Washington County, AR, south of the Northwest Arkansas Mall, offering food as well as rent and utility assistance to those in need. This all-volunteer organization is currently in need of the following items:
- Boxed cereal
- Canned hearty soup
- Peanut butter crackers
- Can openers
Your contributions will help CEO continue their vital work in our community!
- Support the Youth Mission Trip at the Chili Cook-off Also this Sunday, February 9, you can support our youth’s summer mission trip to Colorado by participating in our Chili Cook-off fundraiser. There are two ways to take part:
- Grab a container to-go: Chili will be available after both the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services. The suggested donation is $5 per container.
- Enjoy the Chili Buffet at noon in Upper Witherspoon: For a suggested donation of $5 per person (children 5 and under eat free), you can enjoy a full meal with cornbread and brownies, a fun trivia game, and the chance to vote for your favorite chili!
