Summer Sunday Mornings

Beginning June 1, the Sunday morning schedule will be:

9:30 AM – Church Nursery Opens

10:00 AM – Fellowship Time in The Gathering Place

10:30 AM – Worship

  • Spiritual Growth classes will be taking a break.
  • The classrooms will be available if there are groups of adults who wish to meet informally.
  • Classes will resume on Sunday, September 7.

Pentecost Celebration

Worship on June 8th will be full of the Holy Spirit!

  • Plan to arrive at 10:00 AM for a Birthday Treat and Fellowship Time.
  • Wear your flame colors.
  • Communion will be served
  • We will have up-beat music, instruments to shake & ribbon sticks to wave.

Come celebrate the movement of the Holy Spirit!

After worship, the celebration will continue in Fellowship Hall and the Courtyard!

Holy Ghost Weenie Roast

Right after worship on June 8th:

  • The Fellowship Ministry will be serving hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad and watermelon in Fellowship Hall.
  • There will be a firepit in the courtyard for those who wish to roast their own hotdog or make s’mores.
  • There will be games to enjoy around the table in Fellowship Hall and yard games set up in the courtyard.

Presbyterians in the Park

Meet-ups are being planned for the first 5 concerts in the City of Fayetteville Gulley Park concert series.

  • Look for a balloon with the church logo to find our gathering spot.
  • Show your church spirit – Wear a FUPC T-shirt!

All concerts begin at 7:00 PM. The lineup is as follows:

  • June 12 – Ultra Suede
  • June 19 – National Park Radio
  • June 26 – Emo Night: Taylor’s Version (*Kidz Night)
  • July 10 – Rochelle Bradshaw & Hypnotion
  • July 17 – Dandelion Heart

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and blanket for open-lawn sitting. Pets are welcome, but must remain on a leash. Food trucks will be available on-site. You may also choose to bring food. There is parking off both Township and Old Wire entrances and in the neighborhood streets off Township.  The earlier you arrive, the easier it is to find parking.

In conjunction with the Gulley Park Summer Concert offered on June 26th the City of Fayetteville will also host a ‘Kidz Night’ from 6:30PM to 8:30PM with obstacle course inflatables, bounce house, face painting, jumbo size yard games and more!

Vacation Bible School

We are teaming up with First Presbyterian Church in Springdale this summer for a VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL. The theme is “Operation Restoration – Mending God’s World”

  • When: July 7 to 11 from 8am to 12:30pm
  • Where: First Presbyterian Church, 100 S Gutensohn, Springdale
  • Who: Completed K to completed 5th – nursery for children of volunteers; youth and adult volunteers are encouraged from both congregations.

Transportation: You may either ride with us to and from the FUPC parking lot or you can drop off and pick up in Springdale. We will depart the church at 7:30 each day and return by 1:00pm each day. There will be a sack lunch option to help curb hunger. Registration and volunteer portal are open now (fpcspringdale.org/VBS2025). Deadline is June 15th

Presbyterian Women Synod of the Sun Gathering

This Summer FUPC is hosting the Synod of the Sun Presbyterian Triennial Gathering, July 24-26. Presbyterian women from Louisianna, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas will be gathering on our campus for worship, learning and fellowship activities related to the theme “Our Joy is in Christ.” For more information, please see Presbyterian Women Synod of the Sun Gathering 2025

Youth and Young Adults

Our youth will be traveling to Colorado Springs for a summer mission trip experience at the beginning of June.

Youth group will meet Wednesday evening at 6:00pm in Lower Witherspoon. The Youth Summer Schedule lists the Wednesdays that the group will meet and information about other youth events

Young Adult Dinner will meet every other Tuesday at 7:00 pm in Upper Witherspoon. For specific dates, please see the Young Adult Summer Schedule.
