The Hanging of the Greens will take place this Sunday, November 28th, at First United Presbyterian Church of Fayetteville.
The Hanging of the Greens is the tradition of bringing evergreen plants into the sanctuary to symbolize the eternal power of God in the Word made flesh. It reminds us that we are waiting for Christ, Emmanuel, God with Us, during the season of Advent.
This Sunday is the first Sunday of Advent, and the Hanging of the Greens is just one way that we prepare our church, our hearts, and our lives for Christmas.
Join us for worship at 8:30am or 11:00am on Sunday, November 28th, at 695 Calvin, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
