First United Presbyterian Church

Accessibility

We are committed to making our campus and our gatherings as accessible as possible.

We are currently worshipping together via livestream on YouTube and in small outdoor services. The sanctuary is not currently in use.

Mobility concerns

Accessible parking is directly outside the sanctuary, in the small parking lot to the southeast.

All building entrances are wheelchair accessible, and we make every effort to keep walkways clear.

There is an elevator in the Calvin building, labeled 5 on the map.

Accessible restrooms are located inside the sanctuary.

The church has crutches available for temporary needs.

Communion is available without climbing steps.

Vision concerns

Ask the ushers for large print Bibles and hymnals.

The sanctuary has numerous screens with large print, visible from many parts of the sanctuary.

Take communion in your seat in the sanctuary if you prefer. An officiant will bring the elements to you.

Hearing concerns

The sanctuary has a hearing loop system.

Screens in the sanctuary show the texts being discussed.

Pastors and other speakers face the congregation.

Please feel free to contact the church with any concerns.
