The Presbytery of Arkansas has nurtured a thriving partnership with the Presbytery of Honduras, bringing congregations together across borders to live out Christ’s call to service. In March 2026, a dedicated mission team will embark on their 12th year of ministry in Honduras, continuing the bonds of friendship that have flourished through this service collaboration.

Rev. Jesse Gonzales and Leigh Woodruff, Co-Moderators of the Presbytery’s Honduras Committee, will once again guide the effort. This will be Leigh’s 10^th trip and brings invaluable experience to the group. The March 21–28, 2026 trip will include participants from congregations across Arkansas, youth, and college students.

The mission team will continue construction and renovation projects, as well as time in worship and fellowship with the local congregations. While in Honduras, the team will once again stay at Villa Gracia, a conference center operated by the Presbyterian Women of Honduras just outside of Tegucigalpa. Villa Gracia provides a safe and welcoming space for rest, meals, and deeper connections to the broader Presbyterian mission in the region.
