LET’S ALL PARTICIPATE! Our Annual Not-To-Be-Missed Stewardship Brunch is this Sunday! Marti Woodruff and Debbie McNair will be making sausage and gravy, and we’ll have biscuits and beverages ready. Please bring a favorite breakfast or lunch dish to share. Derrik Olsen, moderator of Stewardship, will present FUPC budget plans for 2018 and let us all know what our giving to God through FUPC accomplishes. Vic Parkerson and Dave Edmark have put together a short video presentation of members and friends of FUPC that everyone will get to see. Chris Bell, Teresa Weeks, and Fred Shefte have worked on details that will make the morning enjoyable. Adults and youth will stay for the meal and program. (Those classes resume November 19.) Children will go to classes at 9:45 a.m. (right after the meal). We’ll trust you’ll be here by 9:30 a.m. with your church family.

LET’S ALL PLEDGE! November 19 is Stewardship Commitment Sunday. Worship will be a jubilant celebration of God’s faithfulness to us as individuals and as a congregation. As we bring our time and talent forms and our pledge cards, our prayer is that we will have faith to trust God with our lives and to be generous in what we give. Stewardship is something we all do together. Every gift, no matter what size, will grow as it is used for the Lord’s purposes through First United Presbyterian Church.  Thank you for making this a matter of prayer. “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see” (Hebrews 11:1 New Living Translation).
THE MARRIAGE GROUP will meets tonight at 6:00 p.m. in Upper Witherspoon for an hour of group conversation and couple time before heading out for “Date Night.” We’ll talk about healthy relationships.
