WONDERFUL WEDNESDAYS: A mid-week adventure for
church members of ALL ages. The cost is $5/ person and
$20 maximum per family (Children three and under - gratis) The meal is served from
5:30-6:00 pm, Program from 6:00-6:45 pm
DIALOGUE AND DESSERT: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 12
Our next Dialogue and Dessert is Thursday, August 12, 6:30-7:30 pm, Fellowship Hall. What do you long for at FUPC beyond worship? The staff and session are interested in hearing your ideas, hopes and dreams for education and mission in the upcoming year! The last “Dialogues and Desserts” is: August 15 (right after worship). We hope everyone will choose to attend at least one of the last two.
ALL CHURCH SKATING PARTY
Join us August 16, 6-8 pm, at Starlight Skatium. The cost will be $5 /person ($2 from each entry will go to the Solar Under the Sun project). This will help rebuilding efforts in Haiti and regions around the world that need clean water resources.

Church Picnic
Sunday, August 22
3 – 6 pm
Plan to kick off the church’s fall activities Sunday, August 22 at the Church Picnic. Bobby and Lana Odom have graciously offered to once again host the picnic in their lovely backyard. Hamburgers, hotdogs with the fixings, along with drinks will be provided. Church members are asked to bring a lawn chair or blanket and a side dish that will serve 10 -12 people.
Members whose last name begins with A – K are asked to bring a dessert.
Members whose last name begins with M – Z are asked to bring a salad, vegetable or fruit dish.
Activities and games including water games will be provided for the children. (Parents, dress your children appropriately for getting wet and throw in a couple of towels)
If you would like to volunteer to grill or help with the picnic, please contact the church office (442-4411).
